The 3Com 3C17304 SuperStack 3 Switch
4228G is a 28-port 10/100 LAN switch for networks requiring the latest
technology at a great price. With 24- 10/100 ports, two copper Gigabit
ports for stacking or downlinks, and two GBIC slots for additional Gigabit
connections, this switch offers rich Layer 2 features including wirespeed
performance, 802.3ad Link Aggregation (LACP) on Gigabit links, Rapid
Spanning Tree Protocol, and Advanced Redundant Power Supply support. GBICs
support both fiber and copper connections. Stack with other Switch 4200
devices up to four units high, with no added hardware required.
Auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDIX, and DHCP support make it simple to install
