The 3CB9FG9 3Com 9 port Switch Fabric module connects directly to the
chassis backplane to provide high-speed, low-latency connectivity between 3Com Switch 4007
(AKA CoreBuilder 9000) interface modules with 3 of the gigabit GBIC ports on
the front.
Use of 3Com Switch 4007
Gigabit I/O Module, 3CB9LG4, is not
recommended with this fabric, as only one port of the I/O module will be
compatible with this fabric.
